What do I do on a lease renewal process if a resident wants a non-standard lease term?

Sometimes a resident will contact you when you're processing a lease renewal and tell you that they want something other than the standard 12 month lease. When this happens, you will need to complete a few basic steps:

1. Complete all of the normal Lease Renewal process steps until you get to the stage for "Send Lease Electronically."
2. When you get to that stage, manually change the process stage to "Non-Standard Lease Term Requested."
3. Complete the steps in this stage, and then once those steps are done, the process will automatically go back to the stage for "Send Lease Electronically," and the leasing agent can send out the lease normally. That's it!
