Tenant FAQ

Can I remove a pet from my lease?

Sadly, we eventually have to say goodbye to a pet. When that happens, you'll probably want to remove the pet from your lease. Of course, in order to protect the landlord, we have to go through a bit of a process to do that. Here's how it works:

  1. Submit this form to request a removal of the pet from your lease.
  2. We will schedule our third-party inspection provider to come out to the house to inspect to verify that there is no longer a pet present. At the time this is scheduled, you will have to pay an inspection fee of $150.00 (this goes to reimburse the landlord for the cost of the inspection, plus it includes a small administrative fee to Revolution Rental Management for overseeing the removal process).
  3. Assuming the inspector doesn't find any evidence of a pet in the home after we receive the report we will remove the pet from your lease, remove the monthly pet fee, and notify you.

It is very important that after this process is completed that you do not bring another pet into the home before going through the process to add a pet to your lease. Failing to follow the proper process will be much more expensive.
