When do you pay property owners?

When a tenant makes a payment, it takes 3-5 days to clear and actually settle to our bank account. We cannot process a payment to you until that has occurred. This is a requirement of state law, because we have to make sure that the trust account never falls below the required balance, which could happen if we sent you the money and then the tenant's payment bounced. By waiting until after the money has actually cleared the bank, we avoid this problem. After a tenant's payment has settled, we process the payment to you the very next business day. Unlike most management companies, we do not have only one or two days a month when we process payments, we do it daily. After we process the payment to you, it should hit your bank account within 3 business days.

To the best of our knowledge, this is the fastest and most frequent payment schedule from any medium or large property management company in our markets. It's one of the things that differentiates us from our competitors, and we are proud to get our clients their money as quickly as possible.
